We aim to empower you with the knowledge of God's love and strengthen your identity in Christ. Meet Dixie

My name is Dixie, and I have a Bachelors in Psychology/Christian Counseling and a Masters in Pastoral Counseling. I began my journey at the Eve Center in 2018, where I completed my bachelor's and master's internships. I've been privileged to support numerous women through their healing journeys and have participated in and helped facilitate various groups and studies.

My heart is to help women walk their difficult journeys and find healing in Christ, strengthen their understanding of His love, and reinforce their identity in Him.

Through Mourning into Dancing Biblical Counseling I offer online pastoral counseling rooted in Biblical principles. Although I am not a licensed professional counselor, my approach integrates faith-based wisdom with psychological insights. Because God has blessed me to be able to do so, I provide my services free of charge, making support accessible to those who need it most. Experience compassionate guidance tailored to your unique journey, empowering you to find healing and strength in Christ.

 

Dixie has been an inspiration to me for years as she, with great passion, has sought God to find His breath of truth in every situation.  Whatever the situation is in your life, she gets it.  With compassion and empathy she brings the love of Christ, growth and healing to the broken as she shares her faith. Her breadth of experience and Biblical knowledge has informed her with wisdom.

Meet Pearlie

 

My name is Pearlie and I’m glad to be part of Mourning into Dancing. Being a counselor is my hearts desire.  In 2023 I acquired a Masters in Counseling/Psychology. During my education I did my internship at the Even Center and then as I finished my Masters I have remained as a  volunteer.  I have been able to use my education and experience through counseling women one on one as a VPC.  

My main objective when helping clients would be to direct and lead them to depend on the power of God for their inner healing. I strongly believe and I have experienced through my journey the need and benefits of depending on God for everything.  Doing this makes me say, ‘there is nothing impossible for God to do’!! That includes our mental health. For He cares for us.

Meet Rosa Mays 

 

My name is Rosa, and I am here to pray for you and encourage you in the faith through the love of God.  I have been on my own personal journey for healing with God at the Eve Center and now I volunteer as a VPC in groups and studies.  I also lend my time on here to pray for women in their time of need.
